SeaPort NxG

SeaPort NxG

SeaPort NxG is the Navy’s electronic platform for acquiring support services in 23 functional areas including Engineering, Financial Management, and Program Management. The Navy Systems Commands (NAVSEA, NAVAIR, NAVWAR, NAVFAC, and NAVSUP), the Office of Naval Research (ONR), Military Sealift Command (MSC), and the United States Marine Corps (USMC) compete their service requirements amongst 2400+ SeaPort NxG Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) multiple award contract holders.  SeaPort NxG provides an efficient and effective means of contracting for professional support services and enhancing small business participation.

GLOTECH, Inc. has been awarded a prime contract under the SeaPort NxG program for engineering, technical and programmatic support services. SeaPort e-commerce and SeaPort NxG are indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) MAC contracts that provide a consistent procurement process which allows NAVSEA to leverage quality control and work requirements for its Directorates, PEOs, and field activities.

Quality Assurance Program

Assuring Quality of Goods & Services

GLOTECH adopted the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Standard and established a certified ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) that applies to all contract work performed. GLOTECH achieved ISO 9001:2015 registration in December 2001, and has maintained CMMI L3 since 2012.  We also have an established and approved welding program that is regularly maintained and practiced.

The ISO registration is maintained through annual re-certifications by the Quality Systems Registrars, officially authorized by the Registrar Accreditation Board for ISO registration within the USA. The purpose of the QMS, and the procedures and work instructions that result from it, is to specify the means for accomplishing contract requirements. The QMS permits us to respond to contract requirements with a high expectation of success and low performance risk to our clients. The fundamental principle of the QMS is that we accomplish the output of products and services by applying processes.

Our CMMI L3 audits are performed every three years, and are valuable as we strive for continuous improved processes and innovative solutions.  When new tasking is received from our clients, we analyze the work and apply existing procedures whenever possible. As necessary, we modify existing procedures or develop new procedures to meet the client requirements. We achieve consistency in our product or service quality by controlling our processes – doing the process the same way every time we do it.
