We seek Biostatisticians to join our team in support of our civilian federal government client who conducts and supports laboratory research, clinical trials, and epidemiological studies that explore health processes; examines the impact of disability and disease; and sponsors training programs for scientists, health care providers, and researchers​.

The position is located in Bethesda, MD.

The position performs the following work responsibilities on a regular basis:

  • Formulates and investigates theoretical statistical techniques & models for Senior Scientists
  • Conducts statistical analyses
  • Develops code in SAS, R, MPlus, SPSS & Stata
  • Provides analytic programming support for all phases of DB development.

Electronic Technicians (w/active DoD Secret Clearances)

We seek Electronic Technicians to join our team in support of our federal government defense and homeland security government clients, the US Navy (USN) and the US Coast Guard (USCG).

These positions are located the Virginia Beach, VA / Norfolk, VA area.

GLOTECH provides systems engineering and technical support to these clients for the development and maintenance of C4ISR (command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance) systems. These systems are used in ships, aircraft and vehicles to connect individual platforms into integrated systems for the purpose of information sharing among Navy, Marine, joint forces, federal agencies and international allies.

The Technicians perform shipboard installations and system engineering with C4ISR shipboard systems, as Team Leads, Electronics Technicians, Cable Pullers, Drafters, and Quality Management System (QMS) Personnel.  The services are provided for, but not limited to, communications systems programs including new methods of transmission for voice and data and video, networking, encryption, or any follow on/expansion programs as named by Navy Research and Development or Space and Naval Warfare Command (SPAWAR).

These positions perform the following work responsibilities on a regular basis, while working with C4ISR Shipboard Systems:

  • Cable Installations
  • Welding
  • Network engineering (Cisco routers, IP switches, firewalls)
  • Systems designing, systems integrations, and conducting ship and site surveys
  • Designing of installation drawing packages
  • Test and Evaluation (T&E): System Operational Verification Test (SOVT)

Qualification Requirements:

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Prior U.S Navy shipboard experience
  • HS diploma or GED and experience with network installation, testing, and maintenance
  • DoD 8570 Compliance IAT II certification prior to start on client site

Project Manager

We seek a Project Manager to manage the design, implementation, testing, inspection, logistics, resource management, and completion of C4ISR system installation efforts on naval surface ships, for our Department of Defense client, the US Navy (USN).

This position is located in the Virginia Beach, VA / Norfolk, VA area.

This position manages shipboard installation projects, involving multiple systems and performs tasks related to the planning and execution of C4ISR systems installations.  This includes:

  • Supervising technical staff
  • Scheduling work and managing task orders
  • Writing proposals and preparing bids
  • Managing equipment and material logistics (procurement and logistics management)
  • Applying working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the DoD procurement policies and procedures

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 10 years directly related technical experience (planning and executing installations of C4ISR systems)
  • Candidates must possess an active and current DoD  Secret Clearance
  • PMP Certification is preferred

Level 1 –  Cable Pullers, Cable Installation Technicians (w/active Top Secret clearances)

We seek  Level I – Cable Pullers/ Installers (with active DoD Top Secret Clearances) to join our team,  in support of our long standing federal government client, who supports U.S. diplomatic missions,  worldwide.

We seek Cable Installers to install low voltage cable including but not limited to CAT 6, CAT6A , ANSI standard copper and fiber cable for OpenNet, ClassNet, DIN, TEMPEST and other ITIR relevant computing and networking equipment and system needs.

  • This is overseas work and requires up to 10 months for a deployment at a time.
  • The position may also include significant amounts of nighttime and weekend work.

GLOTECH plans, designs, procures and installs complete classified and unclassified cabling systems for this client. This includes all facets of ANSI standard copper and fiber design, engineering, installation, termination, distribution, patching, and troubleshooting.

We provide Information Technology Infrastructure Rehabilitation (ITIR) at overseas Diplomatic facilities,  to support the continued successful operation of these critical facilities. The ITIR includes the replacement of the VOIP and Network cabling. Our work also includes activities in support of this replacement, such as  construction of new telecommunications rooms, localized interior demolition and renovation of interior spaces in areas around the new telecom rooms, and modifications to the electrical and mechanical systems.  We design and then build out complete connectivity solutions and cable plants for classified and unclassified voice, data, and video for large campuses.

We understand the idiosyncrasies of legacy infrastructures through our work in the overseas Embassy environments where the cabling and connectivity for any number of systems and programs such as telecommunications, classified and unclassified networks, video and CATV/Satellite TV systems, and multiple other foreign affairs agencies’ networks and campus telephone systems run through the same main and intermediate distribution frames.

Qualification Requirements:

  • GED or High School Diploma
  • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
  • Experience with overseas/ field deployment work, installing, troubleshooting and testing  fiber and copper, backbone and distribution cable with TS, TEMPEST and Type I encryption requirements, for both inside and outside plant needs; OpenNet, ProjNet, and ClassNet access experience.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening with a clean driving record.
  • Possess active Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI) Certification
  • Able to work outside in all weather conditions.
  • Flexible schedule.
  • Able to lift more than 70lbs.
  • Professional, accountable, reliable and willing to go above and beyond to provide a quality product for our customers.
  • Familiar with the installation of small, medium and large data cabling projects.
  • Experienced in terminating and testing structured cabling systems.
