Change Management and Training

Change Management/Training

GLOTECH, Inc. performs training functions for the US Coast Guard, US Navy and Department of State.  These functions include needs and gap analysis, curriculum development, authoring student guides, instructor guides, visual aids, and the installation and maintenance of laboratories (including mobile technical aids and laboratory faults for troubleshooting).  GLOTECH integrates both On-the-Job Training (OJT) and formal classroom training into our installation and maintenance programs. We provide OJT to command-based personnel on each new system installation or maintenance effort. This “hands-on” training is provided while completing our maintenance efforts for electronics and communications personnel. We provide formal onsite training to electronics and communications personnel as directed by the USCG and used by our Electronic System Readiness (ESR) teams to provide crew familiarization for USCG equipment and systems.

In addition, GLOTECH, Inc. develops testing criteria and evaluates training effectiveness through program wide system failures.  In addition to developing Code 50’s “New Equipment Training Program” GLOTECH, Inc. personnel have supported the LANT Training Center of Excellent, CNET Prototype courses, and is assisting in the development of the new program “SPAWAR Institute”. GLOTECH, Inc. personnel have developed a modular, standardized approach to course development that allows for the rapid compilation of courses of instruction.  This program, initially developed to last only one year has enjoyed eight years of operation and exponential growth.
