Job Listing Description: Glotech provides scientific programming, bio-statistical and epidemiological data analysis, data acquisition, and data processing services in an academic-like work environment at NICHD.  The successful candidate will work in a collaborative team environment to provide statistical support, such as study / survey design, sample selection, sample size and power calculaiton, analysis plan construction and execution. They will also present analysis results to the clients in the form of computer outputs, graphs, charts, tables, written reports or other methods. 

Required: The candidate must have a Master’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics or Bioinformatics with at least 2 yrs of experience in a related field. The candidate should also have strong knowledge in statistical theory, especially in the area of multi-stage complex sampling, linear and logistic regression analysis, longitudinal data analysis, survival data analysis, categorical data analysis, latent variable modeling, structured equation modeling, path analysis and hierarchical modeling. Proficient programming skills in SAS is a must. The candidate should possess the ability of working on multiple projects simultaneously and also have the flexibility of working both collaboratively and independently.

Desired: Working knowledge of SPSS, Mplus, STATA C, R, S-Plus and/or other statistical software packages is preferred.  Experience working with genetic data, psychometric data, and/or nutritional data is highly valued.
